Nurul Ain Khirul Ashar
Director and Licensed Representative
Was an auditor for 4 years prior to joining MainStreet Advisers in 2018. During her tenure as an auditor, she led financial audit teams for numerous companies and was also involved in multiple due diligence review works. Since joining MainStreet Advisers, she has been involved in various types of corporate transactions including IPOs and independent advisory. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting (Honours) from Universiti Teknologi MARA and is a member of the ACCA. She also holds a CMSRL issued by the SC.
Tan Vee Han
Head, Corporate Finance and Licensed Representative
A professional with over 15 years in Corporate Finance. Has been involved in various types of corporate transactions including IPOs, RTOs, M&A, fund raising as well as independent advisory work. Holds a CMSRL issued by the SC.
Jason Loh
Head, Transactions
A professional in the transactions space for over 10 years, bringing in diverse expertise from multiple angles. Beginning as a professional business valuation advisor in a Big4 audit firm, he was later involved in the venture capital and equity crowdfunding scene. Prior to joining Mainstreet Advisers, he was actively assisting business owners in the mergers and acquisitions space in an accounting and advisory firm.
Ranjit Singh
Adviser and Co-Owner
Presently the adviser and co-owner of MainStreet Advisers. He was the Chief Executive Officer of Axcelasia Inc. and he spearheaded Axcelasia’s listing on the catalist market of SGX in 2015. He also guided major shareholders of other companies to be listed on SGX and Bursa Securities. Ranjit was the Regional Managing Director of Tricor Axcelasia, a Partner at KPMG and a Board member of Global Institute of Internal Auditors. He has appeared on TV and Radio shows including Biz talk (Astro Awani) and live on BFM’s breakfast grille programmes and spoke at various Bursa Malaysia’s workshops. He has a MBA from Heriot Watt University, Edinburgh. Ranjit is a member of the MICPA and the MIA.
Dato' Siow Kim Lun
Adviser and Licensed Representative
Presently the adviser to MainStreet Advisers. Has extensive experience in the capital market industry including with the SC and investment banks. Formerly the Director of Issues and Investment Division and the Director of the Market Supervision Division of the SC. Currently holds directorship in several public companies. Graduated with a bachelor's degree in Economics (Honours) from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia and a MBA from the Catholic University of Leuven, Belgium. Attended the Advanced Management Program at the Harvard Business School. Holds a CMSRL issued by the SC.
Tan Choon Thye
Adviser and Licensed Representative
Presently the adviser to MainStreet Advisers. Has vast experience in the capital market industry. Led and undertook the provision of advisory services to corporates on listing, mergers, acquisitions, restructuring, privatization, financing. Involved in corporate finance, corporate management and governance matters within corporations. Graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (Honours) from University of Malaya and Master of Business Administration from University of Hawaii. Holds a CMSRL issued by the SC.
